Upcoming Fall Fashion

News from the fashion runways of New York is that fall fashion will be more about creating your own unique look. The 80s styles are really making a comeback on the fashion scene, especially with the leather and shoulder pads. It will be the look for this fall, with power suits and neon knits. It seems we are going into the future by recreating the past.

Fall 2009 is about bringing back the print leggings, skirts and pants, add a leather jacket and you have a bit of that “tough girl look.” Leather pencil skirts are making a come back. Contrasting textures will be the “in” thing for fall with knits, velvets, and lace. Black and white will be big this fall, just remember to put the white on the areas of the body that you want to highlight, and the black in the areas you want to camouflage. Fall will be about you and what you like to wear much like the freedom of the 80s, which as we all know was the “me” time. Will the big hair look come back too?
